The Hands On Children’s Museum is a great Family-Friendly entertainment center to take your kids. They are a very popular place to go to while visiting Olympia, Washington. We recommend taking a look at the museum’s many activities if your taking a trip with your kids to Olympia.

They have many activities that you can take part of, including private events like Birthday Parties, special hours for those with special needs like Autism, and more. They have 2 floors and an Outdoor Discovery Center full of over 150 exhibits.

There's so many stations with so much going on at each station that hearing, "he's not sharing" never happened in two hours. Then.. there's a second floor! We almost missed it because there was too much fun being had on the first floor . . . If you're in the area and have kids, this is a must visit place.” 

The Hands On Children’s Museum opened in 1987, and in 1998 was moved from the tiny storefront facility to the Capitol Campus; and after only 3 years, they’ve hosted many more visitors per square foot than any other kids museum in the Northwest. They moved to their current permanent home after outgrowing its space 3 times over 10 years, to their home in Olympia’s downtown waterfront.
